About the project

Saudi Logistics Services (SAL) was founded in December 2019 and today is the leading air cargo operator in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The company serves all Saudi Arabian airports and handles 99% of the country's incoming and outgoing air cargo, including offices at the four key hubs of Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam and Madinah. This makes it the leader in logistics services in the Kingdom and a key driver in the transformation of the sector envisioned in Vision 2030, which aims to transform the Kingdom into a regional logistics hub that effectively links trade in Asia, Europe and Africa.

Video surveillance in the field

Currently, the main task is to replace and improve the existing security system being used in the Dammam office.

Project objectives

• To replace the existing VMS at one of SAL's facilities, namely the terminal in Dammam, because it was not fulfilling the customer's needs and to integrate 300 cameras of different brands;
• Build a system from scratch.

Project results

Thanks to successfully replacing the current VMS with TRASSIR, the client now has a customizable system with a wide range of analytical tools which allows them to minimize their financial losses while reducing payroll, quickly react to unauthorized territory access, and achieve reliable, maximum protection for their high-risk logistics facility.

About the event

Saudi Feast Festival, the largest of its kind in the Middle East was held December 12, 2022 - December 29, 2022, hosts visitors in a unique experience to consolidate and sustain Saudi cuisine. Various dishes from all regions of the Kingdom were introduced by local and international chefs. It is characterized by a variety of recreational, cultural, and educational activities for all ages in a winter atmosphere. The festival includes a palm and dates exhibition, a business, a restaurant, children's, a workshop, a theater and competition zones.

The event was organized in cooperation with TRASSIR partner Horizon Informatics and EZEXPO company.


Project Objectives

• Collect statistics on the number of visitors;
• Create a portrait of visitors - namely, obtaining accurate information about unique visitors and dividing into age and gender groups;
• Ensure the safety of all guests to the event.

Results

1. Thanks to TRASSIR Neuro Counter functionality, the event coordinators were able to obtain statistics on event attendance, specifically:

• total number of visitors;
• number of unique visitors.

2. TRASSIR Facial recognition functionality helped to determine the age groups, as well as to find people in the facial database.

The Bin Nabhan mosque was founded in 1871 by Ibrahim Nabhan. It is a well-preserved architectural monument, a centre of tourism and pilgrimage for believers.


Outcome

Full monitoring of the territory and perimeter of the mosque, including parking areas. Outdoor cameras detect gatherings of guests near the walls and on neighbouring streets. Special monitoring of restricted areas and sacred sites.

Neuroanalytics reduces false triggering and notifies intrusion into a restricted area. The health, life and peace of mind of clerics and visitors, the property of the mosque and worshipers are protected. The face recognition feature detects undesirable and dangerous visitors at the entrance.

The customer is satisfied with the solution, helping the further expansion of TRASSIR CCTV systems in Kuwait.

The young and ambitious BBT company recently started its journey with picnic kits and very soon has grown into a large burger chain. The brand-new stylish HILLTOP restaurant has opened its doors to guests, but it has not forgotten about golden customers either. The HILLTOP car cafe is a nostalgia for the American eateries of the 80s with fast service and quality food.


Task

The new HILLTOP restaurant from the Best Burger in Town fast-food chain is not just a quick snack restaurant, but a place where you want to meet friends and have a good rest. The pandemic imposed certain restrictions for this, so BBT decided to establish a system of orders for a drive-through.
It was necessary to introduce modern technologies that would significantly speed up the time for processing and issuing orders for automobilists. Significant factors for this were the adaptation of TRASSIR technologies into the restaurant's POS system, as well as determining the numbers of the car that made the purchase and detecting it in the parking lot. In general, the task was to equip four lines for the drive-through orders.


Solution

TRASSIR, in collaboration with partner Blatean Security Solutions, has developed from scratch a work plan and technological solutions for the task. The Neurostation Compact RE system was implemented together with four modern TR-D2253WDZIR7 video surveillance cameras.


Result

Thanks to the introduced solution, BBT company has reduced the waiting time for the customers’ orders by 30%. The core feature of Best Burger in Town - fast on-the-go service - has remained preserved, and as a result, there are no long queues during rush hours. So, golden visitors are returning more and more often.


Advantages

The solution significantly reduced the average customer service time in the parking lot. Also, the project has increased loyalty and the number of regular customers. The number of incorrectly issued orders dropped to zero.


Perspective

Thanks to this new solution, BBT will get full analytics of the percentage of returning customers, the type of target audience, and prospects for new loyalty programs in the future. This will help the company's business to develop not only plans within the frames of making a profit but also successfully introduce new marketing companies that will hit exactly the target.

Kuwait National Guard Training Centre – an independent military institution designed to protect Kuwait.


Project objectives

To improve the reliability and quality of the video surveillance system at Guard Training Centre with minimal costs: integrate TRASSIR equipment with cameras (partially outdated, analogue) and DVR by Commax brand, thereby preserving the working equipment but at the same time modernising and scaling the existing structure.

Solution

Modern cameras and recorders by TRASSIR are integrated with Commax cameras and DVR system previously installed by the customer.


Outcome

All the tasks assigned to the video surveillance system have been accomplished. Modernisation costs are minimised due to successful integration of modern equipment by TRASSIR with a system previously installed by the customer, including partially outdated cameras and DVRs of Commax brand. TRASSIR met the challenge that turned out to be incapable for competitors. The customer's existing video surveillance system has been updated and scaled with minimal investment.

The CCTV system was trained to recognise licence plates of the State of Kuwait and is integrated with a checkout system. The customer is satisfied with the implementation and intends to expand the system for managing parking and analysing visitor traffic.
